Identity

Every Church has an identity and mission that has been specifically given to them by God. We have to understand what our identity, vision and mission is if we are to naturally function and do the things that God has called us to. Firstly, God has called us to be a people that would take His Word and His works back into the culture and the environment from which He saved us. We are to be a people that are both relevant and obedient to what tasks God has for us. We are to be a Church that plants other Churches.

To sum it up, We believe that God has called us to be a family that loves, a school that teaches, a hospital that heals and an army who would advance His Kingdom and His purposes in our generation. We are to be a body of believers trained and equipped in each and every situation where the ministers of the Church are the members and not just the pastoral staff.

Heart of the Church

The Heart of the Church has always been to see our society once again come to know Jesus in a personal way. To see Culture current churches where people can grow in relationship with God and each other and thus help change our communities and society with the message of HOPE that Jesus brought to mankind. We recognise however, that mankind has made a real mess of things.

A glance at the News depicts how cruelly we treat each other, and how hard it is to understand the world we live in. But God has called the church to be his representatives, to heal some of that pain, and to speak the truth to help make sense of life. God sent His son, Jesus, to repair that broken relationship which lies at the heart of all our problems. The wrong (sin) that every person has done had to be dealt with by punishment according to the law, and not simply ignored. The death of a perfect man, God's son Jesus, achieved that for all who will believe. The fact that God raised Jesus to life again demonstrated that death need not be feared, as it is no longer the end for us. It is now a gateway to life forever. So the cross on which Jesus died is the place where we receive forgiveness, and the Christian message is called God's Good News or The Gospel.

With Jesus in our lives we not only have relationship with the One who created us, but we have His power to help us live our lives in a fulfilling and purposeful way - God's way.
