Small Groups

Our Small Groups meet in homes and other locations throughout the city of Glasgow and beyond. Operating in a similar way to Cell Groups, Home Groups and House Groups, their aim is to create an environment of belonging, worship, teaching, prayer and sharing of lives in order to impact the community. Members pray for each other, allowing the Holy Spirit to bring God's blessing and healing. Small Groups are the very heart of the church especially since we have no membership, the best way to belong to, or be a part of, our church is to be in a small group.

We believe they are important because:

  • They are the places in which we will grow and learn to grow in relationship with God
  • They provide adequate pastoral care for each member of the Vineyard
  • Thay allow the development of deep and lasting relationships
  • They help to equip and train group members to do the works of Jesus
  • They provide a place for crisis and ongoing healing
  • They help develop new leaders
  • We learn to relate the word of God personally and practically to daily life

We presently have 10 Small groups up and running within the fellowship in various parts of Glasgow and we will continue planting out new groups as the church grows.
