What to expect

life

One motto in the vineyard is 'Come as you are'.

As you arrive at any of our meetings, you'll notice that they are informal, people wear whatever they like and aim to be themselves. You can be yourself too. We try to create a friendly environment, so don't be surprised if someone comes and speaks to you for the first time (they are probably just as nervous as you are!).

Our typical service begins with tea and coffee, this includes a number of snacks like sweets, cakes and doughnuts! As you get your drink, feel free to chat to folk as well as find a seat before the meeting starts.

Generally, our meeting will start with a time of praise and worship (mainly in the form of singing led by one of our bands) that will last for about 30-40 minutes. This is followed by any announcements and a welcome to visitors. During this time the offering basket and a tin of sweets will be passed round. If you are visiting, please let the offering basket pass you by, but do take a sweet as we want to bless you during your visit.

The announcements are then followed by a message that will also last around 30 minutes. After the message we have a ministry time. This is where people are given an opportunity to respond to the message, receive prayer for healing (or any other issue) as well as a general opportunity to draw closer to God than where you are at the moment. The aim of this time is to make room for God to communicate to us by His Holy Spirit.

Our ministry teams provide a safe place for people to draw near to God and are all trained to pray according to His leading.

Enjoy your visit!
